Peds Nurse Grad Photos | Texas State

Maddy’s peds nurse grad session from 2023 was truly stunning and still one of my favorites. With the historic architecture of the campus as the backdrop and some golden afternoon light, this shoot was a perfect blend. Maddy had several different outfits that I think did such a great job showing every aspect of college, as well as her future, in her grad photos.

We started off under the iconic UAC arches that are always a favorite for grads. Maddy was dressed in a gorgeous, flowy black dress with delicate polka dot detailing, which added an extra layer of elegance to the whole look. It was the perfect mix of chic and timeless. You can just feel her confidence and excitement in every shot.

She also had two stoles to emphasize her different accomplishments. The white “Nursing” stole draped over her shoulders tells a powerful story of hard work, determination, and the journey she’s about to embark on in healthcare. It was especially meaningful to capture her looking down at it, a small moment of reflection on all she’s accomplished.

Texas State’s campus never fails to deliver when it comes to dreamy locations, so we took full advantage of every angle we could find. After shooting at the arches, we walked up to Old Main for a few photos. She changed into her outfit with a peds nurse shirt – which by the way was SO cute – to put a focus on her future career 🙂 We finished up with the classic Texas State T-shirt and boots to pop some champagne. I love ending a session with champagne because it ends on such a high and exciting note :’)
