Modern Western Engagement Photos in a Field | San Marcos, TX

this is one of my favorite sessions to date :’) nick & sutton wanted more of a classy western engagement photo session, and i can confirm that their outfits were honestly perfect for them. they wanted their engagement photos in more of a field, but also somewhere elegant to reflect the different vibes they were going for. the light was so gorgeous in san marcos that day – i think we picked the best spot <3

for their first outfit, the couple embraced a rustic, country theme with some denim, white fabrics, and of course cowboy hat and boots. the sunlit field provided a gorgeous setting that highlighted their natural, down-to-earth, yet fun-loving vibe. you can see that in the way that they walk together and just kind of play around in these photos. we spent the rest of the time in their second outfit by a serene riverside, providing a more intimate and elegant atmosphere. this change in scenery showcased another side of their personalities, which was more romantic and sophisticated. i just think about how they’ll always have the opportunity to display these classy western engagement photos on their social medias, in their homes, and to their family and friends.

if you can’t tell, this engagement photo session was such a great experience. it was such an honor to photograph the love and connection between two individuals who are clearly perfect for each other. their thoughtful outfit choices and the diverse settings provided just a glimpse into their relationship, reflecting both their playful, adventurous side and their elegant, serene moments. their smiles and laughs made me smile the entire time i was editing these :’)
