Returning from my blog post hiatus in the sweetest way—Vanessa and Anthony’s dreamy golden hour engagement session! These photos were taken back in February of 2024, but somehow never made it to the blog… and they’ve become some of my all-time favorites. Between the glowing golden hour sunset, the obvious chemistry, and the soft tones, this session deserves all the love.
A little backstory: I had never met Anthony before this shoot, but he instantly felt like an old friend. He and Vanessa are just those people—so kind, so welcoming, and clearly so in love. Vanessa and I actually graduated from pharmacy school together just a couple months ago (still cannot believe this lol), and now she’s officially begun her residency while I’m finishing orientation for my new pharmacy job. What a surreal time it is :’)
Which brings me to my next life update… I’ve officially moved to Dallas, Texas! After graduation, I packed up, said goodbye to San Antonio, and made the move to North Texas. Between starting a full-time pharmacist job and running my photography business, life has been nonstop – but so fulfilling. Sessions like this one are what ground me and remind me why I do what I do. While it will definitely be a challenge to maintain both of these jobs, quitting either one is not an option because I love them both so much. Soooo we will just have to figure it out and I am excited to see how that happens 🙂
If you’re newly engaged, planning a wedding, or celebrating a graduation, I’d love to help you document this season. My main focus is couples & engagement sessions, weddings, and college graduation portraits but I am definitely open to other types of sessions, as well.
If you are looking for engagement photo ideas or simply wanting to see some engagement and couples photos for inspo, be sure to check out my other blog posts in this category HERE or check out my Pinterest and Instagram for more posts 🙂 Don’t hesitate to reach out to book a session, as well!
