Graduation season is just about to be in full swing, so I had to share one of the most warm and vibrant grad sessions ever with one of my favorite Texas State grads :’) I got to photograph her grad session and then I more recently got to be her wedding photographer!!! Y’all know how much I LOVE working with clients over and over, so this meant so, so much to me.
As always, Texas State University’s campus provided the perfect setting for this graduation session. The lush greenery and classic architecture offered a variety of backdrops, allowing us to capture a mix of traditional and candid shots.
What made this session even more special was the inclusion of Taylor’s sweet puppy. Bringing a pet to a photo session always adds a fun and personal touch, and this pup was no exception. I hiiiiiiighly recommend bringing your pet to a session! But I also suggest bringing someone else to take care of and watch them throughout the session so that you don’t have to worry and can simply be in the moment 🙂
One of the best parts of being a photographer is capturing the genuine emotions of my clients, and this session was full of them. Whether Taylor was smiling brightly for the camera or sharing a laugh with her dog, her joy was contagious and made the session an absolute pleasure to shoot. Graduation is a significant milestone, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of capturing these memories for this Texas State graduate. With the combination of golden hour lighting, stunning colors, and the addition of her sweet dog, this session was truly one to remember.
